The London club is out and about and unfortunately also this season closer to the relegation line than playing in Europe. – The sacking of manager Thomas Frank has been in the cards for a while, only most people have wondered if, but when the Dane will get the end.
The criticism that has been levelled at Thomas Frank is that he tried to take the recipe for success from Brentford over to Tottenham, which in every way (apart from the results lately) is a bigger club that operates in a different way. – Well, as you know, it went badly.

English coaching legend offers to save Tottenham – has the recipe ready!
Thomas Frank finally had to accept defeat: For the first time in his coaching career, he has been fired. Just hours after the Dane was fired, one of the leading candidates to take over the job – Roberto de Zerbi – left his position at Marseille. If the outspoken, English 78-year-old has his way, it is he who can save Tottenham for the rest of the season.
Harry Redknapp led Tottenham in a total of 198 games between 2008 and 2012, and is no stranger to the idea of taking a temporary role. Redknapp has been a part of English football since 1965 – first as a player, then as a coach of seven different English clubs from 1983 onwards, most recently with a guest stay in Birmingham in 2017.
“Would I like that?” Of course I would! I would do it without a doubt. But I’m a realist…,” the colourful Redknapp begins to Sky Sports.
However, he has no doubt that he could have saved Tottenham.
“Could I do the job?” Yes, I could do the job. What they need now is someone to come in and go back to basics. Hard work when you lose the ball. Don’t be embarrassed when you lose the ball – run hard to get it back. Work together, gain some confidence. Make them believe in themselves. If someone can pull it off, they’ll get the results they need. They have my number. If someone wants to call me, they know where I am,” Harry Redknapp concludes with a wry smile.
Tottenham have eleven days to find a new manager before the North London derby against Arsenal. Redknapp is at least ready.
