There are two rounds left of this year’s season and if things go well for Rosenborg, they can actually qualify for games in Europe.
Rosenborg will bring in Swedish-Norwegian midfielder Henry Sletsjøe from next year with a contract that lasts until the end of the season. The 24-year-old, who started out as a little boy in Djurgården, has played for Superettan club Brage for the past three years.
No big surprise Henry Sletsjøe said goodbye to Brage a week ago.

Rosenborg head coach Alfred Johansson knows Henry Sletsjøe well from before!
“This feels great. I have links to Norway and am half Norwegian, so Rosenborg is something you have heard talk about since you were little. My dad traveled to Madrid to watch Rosenborg in the Champions League, so it has stuck with me all my childhood. So to be able to sign for such a big club feels fantastic”, says Sletsjøe to Rosenborg’s pages.
The 24-year-old has played for Brage since January 2022 and has three goals in 85 games.
Sletsjøe was in Djurgården as a youth at the same time as Alfred Johansson was there. Now they meet again.
“Then we had contact, and he was the coach for several of my friends, and it was on a completely different level. I’ve known him for a long time, so I know what I’m getting from him, and he probably knows what he’s getting from me. It also means a lot and is part of why I signed,” says Sletsjøe.
