Manchester United’s new manager Ruben Amorim is in place and will make his mark on the big team going forward.
On Sunday, the 39-year-old Portuguese will play his first game as manager of Manchester United when they visit Ipswich. And he has been clear about one thing. “The most important thing for me is identity. From day one, we start with our identity.”

What that means remains to be seen.
The Daily Mirror believes that a number of players are on Amorim’s out list, a list that so far consists of seven players. These are defenders Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Jonny Evans, Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire, as well as centre-backs Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and winger Amad Diallo.
Evans, Nilsson Lindelöf, Maguire, Eriksen and Diallo have expiring contracts, while Casemiro and Malacia have 18 months left on their contracts.
Several of the aforementioned players have also previously been linked to other clubs, such as Nilsson Lindelöf with Fenerbahce, Juventus and AC Milan.
