“I’ve been following the league and there was a time when City were eight points behind Arsenal, so there’s no reason to get carried away at the moment,” the Liverpool manager began.

“Clubs like City, Arsenal and Chelsea, even United and all the others manage to put together a series of games like we have done. So we don’t get carried away at all. The players know what they have to do to win a match, and that’s a lot. If they could give 50 percent less and still win, we might think that we had 50 percent extra in the tank and didn’t have to perform to the maximum to get results. But we know that it has been close in many games,” says the Premier League’s new football pundit.
