The 29th round of the Eliteserien gave us some answers and confirmed some others. – Odd and Lillesstrøm are at the bottom of the table for a reason and Brann, who a few hours ago were sure to take “home” the gold this season, must cross their fingers that Bodø/Glimt lose at Aspmyra in the last league round against the Eliteserien’s second worst team Lillestrøm. Today, Bodø/Glimt visited already relegated Odd:
In Skien, Bodø/Glimt scored after just one minute. Patrick Berg broadsided in 1-0, and after the break, Jens Petter Hauge hammered the ball in the cross to make it 2-0.
And Brann was in Molde, which is fighting for games in Europe:
It took a long time before the first goal came. Ola Brynhildsen who stood out. Within five minutes before half-time, he scored two beautiful goals. The striker was first played through and finished nicely past Mathias Dyngeland. Then the 25-year-old, who is on loan from Midtjylland, scored beautifully with the outside of his foot.
Felix Horn Myhre ignited a small Brann hope with his reduction after 56 minutes. Emil Kornvig got a good chance after 72 minutes, but Molde’s Albert Posiadala saved well.
Time to bring out the Gold Hats from the Drying Lift
All Brann had to do was win the last two games, but when the last two were against Molde and Viking, everyone understands it was difficult.
