The Spanish media reports Barcelona want to sign the Swede in 2025, send the 26-year-old directly back to Sporting on loan without packing his bags, and then pull on the Barca shirt when Lewandwoski leaves at Camp Nou after the 2025/26 season.
Barcelona are of course doing this to adapt to the situation with top scorer Lewandowski, not miss a unique opportunity to secure Europe’s sharpest striker, reduce the transfer fee through the loan back to Sporting, but at the same time have a very strong bargaining chip with Sporting who do not want to lose Gyökeres.
