Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is back in the ring. On Thursday was the first day at work, a very enthusiastic Danish Coventry player tells about the first impression.
Danish Victor Torp left Sarpsborg 08 in 2023 after 46 games. Championship club Coventry opened the gate in January 2024, where the central midfielder has made 39 appearances. Danish Bold made a phone call to hear about Lampard’s first impressions.

According to Torp, there is a lot of respect around Lampard because of his past performances.
“There is almost always respect around a coach, but you can feel that everyone knows who he is. However, he seems to be completely down to earth. I noticed quite quickly that he is very humble. He has come to help the team and the club, so that’s pretty cool,” says Torp.
Coventry are in 17th place in the Championship table going into Saturday’s game against Cardiff.
