When the season started, not many people cared much about Amad Diallo’s contract expiring next summer. Brought in from Atalanta in 2021, there have been a few games in the United shirt plus loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland. Over the past month, the 22-year-old has sparkled and given Man United a right winger the club has really been missing.
Manchester United have, as usual, secured an option for another season, but this decision must be made before January. That is, less than a month away.

Without an extension, Diallo is free to negotiate with other clubs for a transfer before the 2025/26 season.
According to The Telegraph, Amorim is pushing for extension with the right wing to be a top priority. The United management has caught on to the same, and negotiations are expected in the next few weeks.

After the game against Everton on Sunday where Diallo was behind two assists, Amorim singled out the 22-year-old.
“He (Amad Diallo) is a big talent, but small in size. He did well, but he still needs to get even better. Ruud van Nistelrooy helped him a lot when he was in charge,” the United manager told the BBC.
