Football Insider states that Newcastle are ready to sell Trippier in January for “the right offers”. A sale would free up capital, as the right-back is one of the club’s highest-paid players, for new acquisitions.
The 54-time England international has a past at Burnley, Tottenham and Atlético Madrid. He joined Newcastle in January 2022 and has since worn the captain’s armband between rounds.
