The 34-year-old has a contract until 2026, but the parties could part ways sooner than that.

Football Insider states that Newcastle are ready to sell Trippier in January for “the right offers”. A sale would free up capital, as the right-back is one of the club’s highest-paid players, for new acquisitions.
The 54-time England international has a past at Burnley, Tottenham and Atlético Madrid. He joined Newcastle in January 2022 and has since worn the captain’s armband between rounds.

Newcastle are also struggling in this year’s season. After 13 Premier League games, they have only collected 19 points. Fans and bosses at the club have started discussing the future of manager Eddie Howe.
