Wrexham have two years in a row with movie star money moved up in the league system in England. Wrexham are aiming for a fantastic deal for a Manchester United player in the January transfer window, as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will boost the club’s promotion chances.
With solid investment from their Hollywood owners, Wrexham have achieved back-to-back promotion under manager Phil Parkinson and are in a fantastic position for a promotion hat-trick.

Wrexham are currently second in League One, just two points behind league leaders Wycombe Wanderers after 11 wins, four draws and three defeats in 18 games.
But the Welsh team wants to strengthen again when the January window opens. Despite their success, Wrexham are still looking for a new striker to lead the line, with Jack Marriott, currently injured, their top scorer with five goals in 10 games.
According to transfer expert Graeme Bailey, who spoke to United in Focus, the club is looking at Red Devils youngster Ethan Wheatley to fix the problems in attack.
However, promotion rivals Stockport County are also in the race for Wheatley, as are several Championship clubs.
“Ethan Wheatley is someone that a lot of Championship clubs like,” Bailey said.
“I had heard Wrexham and Stockport go for him.”

The 18-year-old Wheatley came through the ranks at United and made his Premier League debut in April against Sheffield United after signing his professional deal. But there has been little playing time for Manchester United this season. Only played once in the first team in a Carabao Cup match against Leicester City, he instead plays mainly in Premier League 2 where he has scored five times in seven games.
He looks set to get a much-needed loan in a bid to get game time in the professional game, but is not the only United prospect who wants to leave. According to Bailey, Harry Amass, Dan Gore and Ethan Ennis are ready for temporary transfers in January.
Wrexham are back in action on Saturday when they travel to play Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium, following a last-gasp win over Barnsley on Tuesday at Stok Racecourse.
