Marcus Rashford has already made his feelings clear about his Manchester United future amid reports that the club will sell the star striker.
Manchester United will be able to sell Rashford when the transfer window reopens in January, despite him being one of the most important players for manager Ruben Amorim.
A new report has shed more light on Man United’s stance in a potentially worrying update.
Despite reports suggesting that a move away from Old Trafford could be on the cards, Rashford is firmly committed to the club, where he has played his entire football career.
In an article in the Players’ Tribune website titled “Who I really am,” the 27-year-old wrote, “Look, I’m not a perfect person.”
He added, “When I make a mistake, I want to be the first one to raise my hand and say I need to do better.
“But if you ever question my commitment to Man United, that’s when I have to speak up. It’s as if someone is questioning my entire identity, and everything I stand for as a man.
“I grew up here. I’ve played for this club since I was a boy. My family turned down life-changing money when I was a kid so I could wear this badge.”
Rashford graduated from Man United’s youth academy before breaking into the first team, making his debut in February 2016, where he scored a brace against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
He has played 425 games in all competitions, scoring 138 goals. He has helped his team win two FA Cups, two League Cups and the Europa League.
