United legends have urged Rashford to find a new club, with supporters still unable to understand where the club’s top scorer from the 2022/23 season has gone. Ruben Amorim has made it clear that the 27-year-old must “figure it out”. Now comes Rashford’s first statement that does not end with “I will fight for the place”.

“For me personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and to take the next step,” Rashford begins in an interview with former The Times journalist Henry Winter.

“When I travel, there are ‘no hard feelings’. You won’t hear any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s who I am as a person,” the player continues with 128 goals in the red shirt.

“If I know that a situation is already bad, I don’t want to make it worse. I’ve seen other players leave the club in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave the club I will make a statement and it will come from me,” said Rashford, who also said his heart will always be red.

Marcus Rashford is done with Manchester United, no doubt about it. The question now is whether this will happen as early as January.
