101 goals in 210 games. With his contract expiring in the summer, Lille striker Jonathan David is highly sought after. Now, four Premier League clubs are fighting to get the 24-year-old to sign a pre-contract.

For Lille president Oliverier Letang stated in November that exit on David in January is out of the question. The Canadian international has hammered in 17 goals in 27 games so far this season, Lille are dependent on the goals of the striker who is getting ready for the next big step.

David has been linked with big-money transfers for the past three summers, but has remained in Ligue 1. According to Sky Sports, four unnamed Premier League clubs have approached David to get his signature in January and sign the 24-year-old as a new player this summer when he walks out as a free agent.
