We hoped for the longest time that Philip Zinckernagel would wear the yellow Bodø/Glimt shirt next season as well, this time on permanent transfer. The Dane has now signed, but with the “wrong club”.
According to Danish Bold, MLS club Chicago Fire FC has transferred one million euros to Club Brugge for the signing of the Dane, who did not have the 30-year-old in their plans anyway.
The winger with a total of 40 goals and 40 assists in 108 games in the Glimt shirt has signed a four-year contract and seems happy with his next destination.
“I’m very excited to be a part of Chicago Fire FC. The club’s ambition and vision for the future is very motivating, and I am eager to help the team with its ambitions, says Zinckernagel to the club’s website.
We would have been more than happy to take a few more seasons with Zinckernagel in the yellow shirt.
