We have become accustomed to Danish talents choosing the Eliteserien for development and springboard, a real recognition of the work done in Norwegian clubs. On Thursday, Vendsyssel FF player Øhlenschlæger will be clapped in as a Fredrikstad player.
The 20-year-old leaves the Danish club with top marks after 52 games with 6 goals and 8 assists.
“He has undergone a good development during his time at the club. He came as a great talent, and has for the past year and a half worked hard, focused and dedicated to become a profile for Vendsyssel FF, begins Vendsyssel FF’s sports director Christian Larsen to the club’s website.
“Therefore, there has naturally been interest in him after his efforts in the NordicBet league and well-deserved selection to the U-20 national team this autumn, which has now resulted in a great transition to the best Norwegian league,” Larsen boasts.
According to Fredrikstad Blad, the elite league club must shell out 3 million Norwegian kroner for the midfielder.
