It will be tough for Icelandic Freyr Alexandersson to repeat the success from last season for Brann. His predecessor Eirik Horneland led the Bergens to second place in the Eliteserien, behind Bodø/Glimt, who are also this season tipped as league champions by Sporten.com’s somewhat lazy panel of experts.
Rosenborg also seems to be getting things more in order and Molde, who have got Per-Mathias Høgmo back, will mix in at the very top. (We should not forget Viking either, who are consistently good)
There will be reinforcements. Freyr Alexandersson has today received his first reinforcement. Brann signed Mads Kristian Hansen et reports the club itself on its website. Transfermarkt reports that Brann has paid 500,000 euros.
Hansen comes from the Danish club Nordsjælland on a deal that extends through the 2028 season.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about the city, the club and the people. When I heard that there was an opportunity to come here, I had no doubt that it was something I wanted,” Hansen says to Brann.
The Dane describes himself as an offensive player who thrives best on the wing, but who can also function more centrally in the field.
