The English newspaper reports United have hired former athletics coach Harry Marra as a consultant and the 78-year-old won the award as World Athletics Coach of the Year in 2016.
The American will join Amorim’s backroom staff and focus on how to cover areas of the pitch with speed and stamina. When Manchester United sent Rangers home with a 2-1 defeat in the Europa League, Marra sat in United’s director’s box and analysed the situation.
