The Danes had to watch with shock and disbelief Norway pass Denmark on the ranking list of the best nations at club level. This is largely due to Bodø/Glimt. It is therefore not surprising that the Nordic Bet club Kolding believes they have made a move to get a Glimt player in the squad.

The 19-year-old Mats Pedersen was last season on loan to Mjøndalen, on Saturday the midfielder was presented as a new Kolding player.

Kolding’s Head of Football, Niklas Nürnberg, is grinning from ear to ear when he presents the news.

-Mats is a player who, with his dynamics, work radius, game understanding and creativity, has a very interesting package that we believe we can take to a high level. Add to that his training in Norway’s best club, where he became part of the first team as a 17-year-old, 9 Norwegian U-national team games in 2024, and a number of senior games at a very young age, and we have great faith that Mats is equipped to quickly step in and assert himself, and that he will take some big steps individually and with the team, says the Kolding boss in the press release.

We congratulate the Danes on the signing.
