Fast, technical and goal-threatening. The 22-year-old Mjällby AIF winger Elliot Stroud, who also thrives on the left side of midfield, got his impressive breakthrough in Allsvenskan last season.

Now Mjällby AIF can either cash in or try to hold on for another year. During the winter, a number of clubs have shown interest. We mention a lot: AIK, Malmö FF, Polish Rakow, Czech Viktoria Plzen, Austrian Sturm Graz and several English championship clubs.

Mjällby climbed after a strong final spurt to 5th place in Allsvenskan. – The last weekend in March starts the new season.

A few weeks ago, there was an offer from Rakow of one million euros, sports director Hasse Larson wants double that.

The Tuttosvenskan podcast comes with new information that Molde has made a bid that almost gives Larson what he wants. Based on the information, it is not clear how the Blekinge team has responded to the offer.

Mjällby sporting director Hasse Larsson, on the other hand, believes that the information is not correct, and that there will be no sale.

“Nothing, and we are not selling now,” he writes to Fotbollskanalen.

Stroud joined Mjällby from Oddevold ahead of the 2023 season, and has since scored eight goals and seven assists in 58 games.
