After his transfer to Barcelona from Leeds in 2022, it only took one season before the Brazilian was seen as a flop and on his way to exit. Barcelona kept faith in the former Premier League star, Hansi Flick football has been perfect for Raphinha and the Brazilian is one of the best in Europe this season with 24 goals and 12 assists so far. This has made a Premier League trio move, now Raphinha is going back to the Premier Leqague.
Various media outlets have reported that Arsenal, Manchester United and especially Liverpool have shown strong interest in the Brazilian, which in turn has boosted the Barca management.
Contract expiration in 2027 is anything but reassuring, especially with the Premier League club on the offensive. According to Spanish Fichajes, Barca director Deco has accelerated the negotiation job by tying Raphinha to the new year and keeping the suitors at bay.
Liverpool is a club that is said to be willing to break the bank for Raphinha, but with Barcelona coming in with offers of a contract that “corresponds to the deliveries”, it will be almost impossible to bring the Brazilian away from the La Liga club this summer.
