Real Madrid are chasing Bournemouth’s young star Dean Huijsen

Dean Huijsen, the 19-year-old Bournemouth full-back, has been one of the biggest surprises in the Premier League this season. With impressive performances, he has already attracted the attention of several of Europe’s biggest clubs. Now, Sky Sports reports, among others, that Real Madrid have stepped up their pursuit of the young Spanish/Dutch star.

Huijsen, who joined Bournemouth from Juventus in the summer for just €15.5 million, has a contract that runs until 2030. He has quickly established himself as a key player for Bournemouth, and his role as a strong, technical and tactically savvy centre-back has made him a sought-after talent.

Transfermarkt, who had his value down to €12 million in the summer, has increased it to €42 million at the last update. That says a lot!

Real Madrid’s interest

Real Madrid decided to invest in Huijsen as a potential solution for their defence. The club, which is known for investing in young talent, seems to have found its next target in the Amsterdam-born Spanish full-back. Real Madrid have long been looking for a new centre-back, and Huijsen fits perfectly into the profile they are looking for: young, talented and with great potential for growth.

Huijsen has a buyout clause of 60 million euros, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Previous links to big clubs

This is not the first time Huijsen has been linked to major European clubs. In the past, he has been linked with Premier League giants such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United. His performances at Bournemouth have only increased the interest.

Dean Huijsen – a rising star

Dean Huijsen, has already made his mark as one of the most promising young defenders in Europe. He started his career in Juventus’ academy, where he developed into a technically skilled and tactically astute player. His ability to read the game, combined with his physical strength and ball skills, makes him a complete centre-back.

At Bournemouth, he has gained the confidence to play regularly in the Premier League, which has contributed to his rapid development. He has also shown the ability to contribute in attack, with several important goals and assists this season.

Dean Huijsen, who played football for the Netherlands early on, switched to the Spanish U21 national team, much to the chagrin of the Dutch press.

What next for Huijsen?

With Real Madrid’s interest and a number of other big clubs on the sidelines, it looks like Huijsen faces an exciting future. Bournemouth will probably fight to keep hold of their young star, but with a £50m buyout clause, it could be difficult to resist the pressure from the biggest clubs.

For Huijsen himself, a move to a club like Real Madrid could be a dream come true. At the same time, it is important for him to choose a club where he gets playing time and the opportunity to continue his development.

No matter what the future holds, one thing is certain: Dean Huijsen is a name we will hear a lot more about in the years to come. With his talent and willingness to work, he has already put himself on the map as one of Europe’s most exciting young players.
