On Friday, the English tabloid The Sun melted up the news that Alejandro Garnacho has put his house in Manchester up for sale with a price tag of £3.85 million. For the newspaper, it means “proof” that Garnacho is done at Manchester United. This served as oil on the rumor fire, the Argentine player has been linked with an exit after Amorim took over.

First to Ruben Amorim’s answer to the question of whether he is satisfied with the 20-year-old’s performance: “I think he is doing the right things. Of course, like all the players on the team, he has to make better choices, especially in the final third… We have to improve as a team to help Garnacho, but Garnacho is improving the way he defends, his runs, so he works hard. He has to score more goals and get more assists, that’s clear, but so must the other guys,” Amorim said at Friday’s press conference.

Then the “news” about the house sale broke.

Two Daily Mail journalists threw themselves into the matter and came up with a version that doesn’t exactly support “proof that Garnacho is done at Man Utd!”.

The two journalists write Garnacho bought this house at a time when his family and brother lived permanently in Manchester, now the gang has moved back to Spain and Garnacho with partner Eva Garcia and one-year-old son wants a smaller home.
