One thing seems to be clear. Real betis, who have boosted Manchester United flop Antony, have done too good a job for them to have the chance to buy the Brazilian right winger or secure a new loan deal.

After the success of his loan spell, Manchester United want to sell the hitherto unsaleable Brazilian – and are willing to spend 75 million on compensation.

“The Red Devils” are hoping to recoup part of the €95 million investment in the Brazilian winger, and according to reports, they have already received a €45 million bid from Atlético Madrid – which could speed up a transfer.

Antony joined Manchester United in 2022, but has not been able to establish himself as a permanent fixture in the team. However, his loan spell at Betis has been a success, with him playing a pivotal role and attracting interest from several clubs.

The replacement costs 75 million euros

If Antony is sold, United already have a replacement in sight: Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, a 20-year-old winger from Borussia Dortmund. The young Englishman has impressed in the Bundesliga this season with 8 goals and 4 assists in 28 games, and his technical skills, speed and creativity have attracted the interest of several top clubs.

Bynoe-Gittens has a market value of around 75 million euros, which underlines his enormous potential. Although the price is high, United see him as a long-term boost to the attacking line.

Youth revolution at Old Trafford?

If the sale of Antony goes through and Bynoe-Gittens signs, it will indicate that United are investing in youth to renew the team. The question will be whether the English talent can adapt to the Premier League quickly enough to become a key player in the coming seasons.
