It’s not all we can bear to listen to from grumpy Roy Keane, but when he points to Ole Gunnar’s Solskjaer as the symbol of dedication in the United shirt, then we listen.
It was after a 0-0 draw against Manchester City and a game that was free of blood, sweat and tears, that the legendary United captain reacted. First, it was Ruben Amorim who heard it.

“He believes in his philosophy, and that’s good. But I believe in the philosophy of winning football matches. That’s what I believe in,” Keane told Sky Sports.
Now to the Manchester United players on the pitch.
“They have to show more courage. I don’t think they do enough to win football matches. They have to be ready to sacrifice more, which I don’t see right now. Find a way to win. They have a responsibility when they play for Manchester United,” Keane grumbled.

So back to Amorim and questions about whether there have been improvements under the Portuguese’s leadership.
“I can’t see any improvement. What happens at the training facility? Take Garnacho as an example. Look at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, when he ran 60-70 yards home to tackle a player (against Newcastle in 1998). He was sent off, but sacrificed himself for the team. They don’t do that now,” Keane concludes.
