When Christian Eriksen walks out Old Trafford for the last time this summer, the Dane can look back on ten seasons in the Premier League. Tottenham, Brentford, then Manchester United. Now the “old club” wants the playmaker back for an eleventh and twelfth year in the world’s toughest league.

Eriksen has rejected playing in MLS or the Danish Super League, his goal is a few more years at the top level in Europe. Serie A is out of the question, where the Italians do not allow players with pacemakers in the Serie A arena. Thomas Frank believes Eriksen must take these last years in the world’s toughest league – at Brentford.

-Christian had a fantastic time with us, he wants to play a little more. I’m open to all players, but there are a lot of things that come into play whether it’s possible. But let me put it this way: nothing is closed. I will not reveal whether there has been a dialogue with Christian. You can’t make me be so specific,” Thomas Frank says according to Bold.

Brentford have established themselves in the middle of the Premier League and can offer Eriksen games at the top level. Probably also plenty of playing time. We are more than happy to take a few last seasons with the Danish playmaker in the Brentford shirt.
