For seven days, German legend Mats Hummels told him he will retire after the end of the season. It has not gone as expected at Roma, here the 36-year-old has only been on the pitch for 19 games. Now the centre-back does not bother to look for a new club. A week later, a new club is on its way to engage Hummels. It’s not just any club, or just any end to your career.

Because according to Bild, old club Borussia Dortmund will make Hummels postpone his retirement and get on the plane with the club to the Club World Cup in the United States this summer.

Hummels has an impressive 508 appearances in the Dortmund shirt, the German media claim the club will offer the 36-year-old a short contract effective from June, with a place as a reserve in the Club World Cup.

The Dortmund legend himself has said he wanted to end his career at de Schwartzgelben, with an extra transfer window from June 1, this will be possible. We guess Hummels will accept after two-tenths of a time of reflection.
