The atmosphere at Aspmyra is rightly electric these days, the money is pouring in due to success in Europe, in the Eliteserien and on the transfer market.

On Thursday, there is a return match at the Stadio Olimpico (with a capacity of 72,698) in what was supposed to be the highlight of Lazio’s celebration of their 125th anniversary. Bodø/Glimt managed to announce an extension for center back Odin Bjørtuft before they travel to Rome, the 26 year old will be involved and then together Kjetil Knutsen’s defense and make sure that we do not get a goal bonanza the opposite way and celebration for Lazio.

Odin Bjørtuft is very happy about the extension of his agreement with Bodø/Glimt until 2028, something he tells the club’s pages. “It feels incredibly good. I’m happy to continue in Glimt, so the choice was easy”

Bjørtuft has established himself as a mainstay in the defense and has played a total of 92 games for the club.

“This is a journey I have been proud to be a part of, and I look forward to contributing further. For me, there was never any doubt that I want to be here,” says the 26-year-old, who came to Glimt from Odd (who this season will fight their way back to the Eliteserien from OBOS-Ligen) in 2023.
