A little warning to happy Norwegians in Rome, be careful, Italian fans are world famous for losing their heads and resorting to violence when needed.
There were clashes between the Lazio ultras and the police just hours before the Derby della Capitale this evening, but the authorities managed to prevent them from reaching Roma supporters.
Bodø/Glimt welcomed Lazio players and fans with open arms and a snowstorm when they won 2 – 0 at home at Aspmyra. Tomorrow Thursday at the Stadio Olimpico it will certainly be fine, but if Lazio is sent out of the Europa League, as we think will happen, it is not wise to celebrate too fiercely in the streets of Rome afterwards.

Lazio and Roma fans detained after riots
There was violence on the streets ahead of the Rome derby between Lazio and Roma this weekend.
Italian media reports that the team’s ultras tried to attack each other in the city, but were stopped by the police. Subsequently, ultras have thrown bottles and other objects at the police, according to the reports.
The police, on the other hand, are said to have used tear gas and water cannons to prevent the ultra groups from reaching each other. A total of 24 police officers were injured in connection with the unrest.
Now La Repubblica and Italian Sky report, among other things, that Lazio and Roma supporters will be banned from the next three away games for the respective teams – i.e. the rest of the Serie A season.
Starting next season, high-risk matches, such as the Rome derby, will be played during the day and not in the evening. The country’s Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi has announced this to the Football Association (FIGC).
Seven people have been arrested after the violence, reports Sky.
A couple of hours ago, Bodø/Glimt made in Rome and as we see in the pictures that the club has posted on Instagram on departure, it is only nice guys who leave.
