It feels a bit strange that Anthony Elanga would choose to go back to Manchester United, where things are really not going well at the moment, and leave the success he is experiencing at Nottingham Forest.
Nottinham Forest are under the management of Nuno Espírito Santo with the fight for the Champions League and the Swedish 22-year-old right winger is central, something he was not at Old Trafford. But on the other hand, he had been at Manchester United for eight years when he was sold to Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2023 for €17.5 million.

Manchester United are considering Anthony Elanga
CaughtOffside reports that Manchester United, who have had a weak season in the Premier League, are eyeing him. The English giants are reportedly considering bringing back Elanga in the summer transfer window. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are also said to be monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation at Nottingham Forest.
Transfermarkt believes Anthony Elanga is worth €35 million, but if we are to believe the rumours, Forest are only willing to start talking over €50 million.
Anthony Elanga has a contract that runs until the summer of 2028 and he is very happy at the City Ground. In total, Elanga has recorded 11 goals and 18 assists in 75 appearances for Forest.
In a few hours, it will be ready for battle. Tottenham in crisis welcomes Nottingham Forest for the hanging match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 2100. Nottinham Forest will win 3rd place in the Premier League.
