The former Aston Villa striker annoyed Juventus fans after they won the series.

Juventus star Alisha Lehmann has received a lot of backlash on social media after her Serie A Women’s team secured the league title. In July, Lehmann and her boyfriend, Douglas Luiz, left Aston Villa to join Juventus ahead of the 2024/25 season.

While Luiz and Juventus’ men’s team have struggled, things have gone much better for Lehmann – Juventus’ women won Serie A on Friday after a 2-0 win over AC Milan, which gave them a 10-point lead over second-placed Inter Milan (who only have three games left).

But fans are not happy with the Swiss international, after what she did right after Juventus were crowned champions.

Since arriving in Turin, Lehmann has scored just two goals in 17 appearances for Juventus, mostly coming on as a substitute. Her last game from the start was in the 2-2 draw against Sassuolo in November.

Despite this, she was at the forefront of the club’s title celebrations – something that has been criticized on social media.

An annoyed fan asked:
“Why is Alisha in front?” She has only scored two goals in 17 games – where is Girelli? The real star player?

Juventus striker Cristiana Girelli has been the team’s best player this season with 19 goals in 22 games, including both goals in the title match against AC Milan.

Another fan expressed her frustration: “For no reason and unnecessarily,
Alisha Lehmann will always be in the spotlight.

A third said:
“Up front and in the centre, even though she has only played 36 minutes for Juventus this year. Have some shame.

A fourth joked:
“Lehmann is the person who just wrote his name on the group project without contributing.

Lehmann played just eight minutes in the game against AC Milan, and it was her first league appearance since a nine-minute substitute against the same team on February 9.

The game against Sassuolo was the only time she has played a full 90 minutes this season. It seems that she has been busy off the pitch as a manager in the Baller League together with Maya Jama.
