It is still unclear where the striker will play next, but according to the British newspapers Daily Mirror and The Telegraph, the Englishman wants to continue in the Premier League. Also, he doesn’t like to travel or excessive heat.
The Guardian, on the other hand, reports that a move to the United States is more likely. There are also rumours that when he one day, in the not too distant future, hangs up his football boots, he will return to King Power in a coaching role.
Jamie Vardy has recorded 198 goals and 69 assists in 496 appearances for Leicester. He has previously also played for Fleetwood Town and FC Halifax Town. Leicester are currently in 19th place in the Premier League and are ready for relegation to the Championship.
Leicester travel to Molineux Stadium later today, Saturday, to face Wolverhampton, who before Jørgen Strand Larsen’s goal bonanza were in the relegation battle together with Leicester.
