Bayern Munich, who are looking for a backup for Harry Kane, have been mentioned as one of several potential buyers. However, a transfer for Nkunku could depend on Bayern being able to sell Mathys Tel, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.
If Bayern get €60 million for Tel – a clause included in the loan deal – it will open the door for a possible signing of Nkunku.
If Spurs do not trigger the purchase clause and Bayern do not manage another big player sale, it will be more difficult for the German giants to sign Nkunku.
Success in the Bundesliga – but failing at Chelsea
Nkunku had a great period of success at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, but has not found his form in the Chelsea shirt since his arrival. Now it seems that the Frenchman wants a new chapter in his career.
