The football warrior who started his career at Bodø/Glimt, with a professional contract in 2007, now returns home. The boots are being shelved, now years of experience from English and Scottish football will be poured out to young, promising Glimt talents.
Johansen has had an impressive career, playing for clubs such as Celtic, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers, plus 55 games with the Norwegian flag on his chest.

In the same week that Bodø/Glimt are fighting for a ticket to the Europa League final, Johansen will enter as a player developer in the reigning league champion’s academy, reports Glimt.
“I feel that I can use the experience I have gained through my playing career. I have been on the field throughout my career, and feel I have a lot to contribute, says the Vardø native to glimt.no.
This man definitely has a lot to contribute on the training field. For Bodø/Glimt, another strong “signing” and piece in place for the further, long-term investment of Scandinavia’s best club.
