Little brother Bellingham. Jobe has to put up with playing in the shadow of his big brother Jude, for now, but the 19-year-old is going up his own route. Little brother doesn’t have as bad a time as Jude, but is now ready for a big step. Two rows of business class on the flight to England were occupied by the delegation that will convince the 19-year-old to do as his brother.

Jude Bellingham was at Carrington at Manchester United as a 16-year-old, but chose Borussia Dortmund and the Bundesliga. This was a great success and the perfect springboard to the world’s best club, Real Madrid. Jobe Bellingham has a solid 40 Championship appearances for Sunderland this season and has shown he is also ready for more.

Several English clubs have been linked with Bellingham, but Dortmund show they are the most motivated to give the 19-year-old the very best working conditions. According to Ruhr Nachrichten and German Sky Sports, Dortmund sent club boss Lars Ricken, sporting director Sebastian Kehl, coach Niko Kovac and chief scout Sebastian Krug to England to persuade little brother Bellingham.

Then the Dortmund management is eagerly awaiting what the English teenager decides. We’re betting Bellingham will wait to see if Dortmund can offer a Champions League ticket next season. So far, the club is one point away, with two games remaining.
