Paris Saint-Germain are determined to retaliate after Real Madrid signed Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer last summer.
PSG is experiencing one of the most glorious periods in the club’s recent history. Under Luis Enrique, the French team has qualified for the Champions League final after beating Arsenal at the Parc des Princes. Now the Spanish coach is already planning how he can strengthen the squad further.

Eduardo Camavinga is Paris Saint-Germain’s new target
Enrique, who was clearly excited after the historic final, emphasized that his goal from day one has been to make his mark on the club. But he knows that expectations will only increase – especially after heavy investments from President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Qatar’s emir. Therefore, he has pointed out Eduardo Camavinga as a priority to strengthen the team.
The French midfielder, who now plays for Real Madrid, has had a turbulent season marked by injuries and varying performances. Nevertheless, Real Madrid have no plans to sell him, as they believe his potential is still intact.
The problem of the season is clearly seen in Camavinga’s value. Transfermarkt believes he is worth 70 million euros, down from 100 million euros at the top.

Perfect for the Luis Enrique system
According to DefensaCentral, Enrique believes that Camavinga will fit perfectly into his style of play thanks to:
✔ Physical strength
✔ Tactical flexibility
PSG are willing to make a significant bid to convince both Real Madrid and the player himself.
What does Camavinga want?
Camavinga is currently focused on getting back to top form. He is waiting for a conversation with Real Madrid’s new coach – presumably Xabi Alonso – to understand his role in the new project.
The France international wants to:
🔹 Define his permanent position on the pitch
🔹 Take a step forward in his career
But he does not completely close the door to new challenges.
