Trent Alexander-Arnold has told Liverpool supporters that he is leaving the club and walking out as a free agent this summer, without the club getting a euro from Real Madrid. The response from a good number of supporters at Anfield was evident at Anfield’s last Premier League match. Disappointment, anger and a solid pipe concert greeted the right-back. The Liverpool management is not very happy with the outcome either, now a mini obstacle is being put in Real Madrid’s way.

Real Madrid will go out in the Club World Cup from mid-June, Liverpool’s Premier League season is over after May 25. So in practice, it does not pose any problems for Alexander-Arnold to be part of the Real squad.

The 26-year-old’s contract expires on June 30, so the England international is still a Liverpool player when the Real Madrid players and Xabi Alonso get on the plane to the United States.

According to ESPN, Liverpool have made demands on Real Madrid. If you want Alexander-Arnold before the end of your contract, you will have to look up 1 million euros.
