A long and very impressive career is over. – 42-year-old Pepe Reina has decided that it is over after this season. – Or as he himself says: “A very beautiful career is over”.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina spent nine years at Liverpool and played almost 400 games for the club.
He won both European Championship and World Cup gold with the Spanish national team and became Bundesliga champion with Bayern Munich, among other things.
But now, 25 years after his debut for Barcelona, Pepe Reina is retiring.
After this season, his career is over.
“A very beautiful career is over. I decided to retire in January. I spoke to my wife and we made the decision together,” the 42-year-old told Spanish Movistar.
This season, the experienced goalkeeper has played eleven games in Serie A.He
made a surprising move to Como last summer.
In total, Reina has played 951 football matches at the top level.
