Up until this winter, Marcus Rashford has been a Manchester United player, he ended up in the freezer of former manager Erik ten Hag, an attitude that current manager Ruben Amorim inherited when he took over in November.
Like so many others who have left Marcus Rashford, the 27-year-old got a boost on loan at Aston Villa. Manager Unai Emery was very pleased with his loan player and wants a transfer as agreed in the loan deal.

A surprising turn in Marcus Rashford’s situation at Manchester United has emerged after the conclusion of the Premier League season.
The 27-year-old played the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa after being frozen out by Rúben Amorim, who was not happy with his training efforts.
For Villa, Rashford scored four goals and six assists in all competitions, and his improved form saw him return to the England national team under Thomas Tuchel. He also helped Unai Emery’s team to the Champions League quarter-finals.
Rashford played his last game several weeks ago after a hamstring strain and his absence was severely marked as Villa failed to qualify for the Champions League after a 2-0 defeat to his parent club in the last league round.
Aston Villa may choose not to buy Rashford
Villa had a £40 million option to buy, but according to the latest news, they may choose not to exercise it after failing to reach the Champions League.
Surprising turnaround: Rashford could stay at United
Steve Bates of GiveMeSport reports that Rashford could still stay at Manchester United.
After United failed to qualify for the Champions League (after losing the Europa League final to Tottenham), the club’s financial situation has taken another hit. This could lead to Rashford staying at Old Trafford – if he and Amorim can find a good relationship again.
A report from The Times earlier this month claimed that Rashford, who is still valued at £40 million, wants to play in the Champions League again next season.
Barcelona could offer him that, but no approach has been reported from them yet.
Rashford was not named in Tuchel’s new squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Senegal because he has not fully recovered from injury.
