The Club World Cup, which has been given a new format and a billion dollars in prize pools as a result of FIFA’s desire to run the tournament relevant, seems to be working. An advanced system with the accumulation of points and distribution by region over the last four years means that from the Premier League’s side, it is Chelsea and Manchester City who travel to the states.

Arsenal will not play in the tournament, but Jorginho’s new club Flamengo will.
Jorginho’s career has included stints at Hellas Verona, Napoli, Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 33-year-old was supposed to leave the Gunners when his contract expires on June 30, but the London-based club stated that they had “reached a mutual agreement with Jorginho to end the contract with immediate effect”.

This allowed the Brazilian-born player to complete his transfer to Flamengo, who announced his arrival on Friday before they will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup that starts on June 14 in the United States.
Jorginho came to the Premier League when he signed for Chelsea from Napoli in 2018, winning the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup while at Stamford Bridge.

He joined Arsenal in January 2023 and made a total of 78 appearances for the club.
