Tottenham are working hard to bring in a new manager after they sacked Ange Postecoglou after a miserable season that eventually surprisingly gave Champions League games after winning the Europa League.
Fans are almost as disappointed with the sacking of Ange Postecoglou as they were with the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino. A sum chairman Daniel Levy will not be willing to pay.

However, it seems that the club has landed on Brentford manager Thomas Frank as their preferred candidate to take over this summer.
According to The Mirror, Spurs will have to pay Brentford over £10 million to sign Frank due to a buyout clause in the contract he signed in 2022.
One of the main criticisms of Postecoglou from pundits such as Jamie Carragher was that he was reluctant to adapt his style of play, which created problems in defence when his preferred starting eleven was not available.
Frank, on the other hand, has shown the ability to adapt his style of play to the players he has at his disposal. Players like Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa have flourished in attack in the absence of Ivan Toney.
The fact that the Brentford manager was able to maximise the duo’s potential – they scored 20 and 19 Premier League goals respectively in 2024/25 – speaks well for his ability to adapt at Tottenham.
Frank has also shown that he can develop young talent, with players such as Kevin Schade, Nathan Collins and Mikkel Damsgaard improving under his leadership.
Furthermore, the 51-year-old Dane is not afraid to ask his team to defend deeper to preserve a lead, and his willingness to be pragmatic could help Spurs climb the table.
In addition, Frank has never had access to large transfer budgets as Brentford manager, so he can probably benefit from greater financial muscle at Tottenham.
