Manchester City have made a significant reinforcement by signing Rayan Aït-Nouri (23) from league rivals Wolverhampton. The talented left-back has been one of Wolves’ most prominent players in recent seasons.
There is just over a day left of the extraordinary transfer market in connection with the Club World Cup. – Now many Pep Guardiola gets a reinforcement he has wanted for a long time.
Aït-Nouri on his move to City:

The transfer was officially announced on City’s website and social media on Monday.

The Algerian
international has had an impressive development:
- Joined Wolves on loan from Angers in 2020
- Was bought permanently already the following year
- Was a key player last season with almost all the minutes in the Premier League
Aït-Nouri is considered a modern, attack-oriented full-back who fits perfectly with Pep Guardiola’s style of play. With his arrival, City gain both depth and quality on the left side of the defence.
