On Thursday, Matheus Cunha was clapped in as a Manchester United player. The Wolverhampton star is bought “free” for £62.5 million, a significant investment for a financially strapped United. Now it is reported that the next signing is very close to publication, but this one in a completely different category.
The 18-year-old arrives on a free transfer from Le Havre, a move that mirrors the deal that originally brought Paul Pogba to Old Trafford as a teenager, and United will be hoping that their new signing can achieve similar success to the French world champions (when Pogba was at his peak).

According to the Manchester Evening News, there are now only some “regulatory steps” that need to be taken before the deal is announced. Marseille and Monaco had also been chasing the young talent, who Le Havre fought to keep.
It is unclear what Man Utd have planned for the talented striker in the short term. Le Parisien reported last month that the striker will be sent directly on loan to Ineos club FC Lausanne, reports the local newspaper in Manchester claims nothing has been decided.
The 18-year-old was on the bench once for Le Havre’s first team, but never made his debut for the club, which struggled in Ligue 1.
Instead, he played primarily for the U19 team, scoring eight times in 15 league games.
So what type of player is Enzo Kana-Biyik?
Born in Paris, but is of Cameroonian origin. A centre-forward who has many qualities that have attracted Man Utd. His game combines power, positional awareness, and strong finishing skills. United scouts are said to have been impressed by his flair and ability to break through in duels, not to mention the surprising mobility for a player of his size.
