47-year-old Nick Cox has worked for Man Utd in various roles since 2016, starting in 2019 in one of the club’s academy leaders. According to The Athletic, Cox will be presented as technical director during the summer – at Liverpool.

Everton are in the final stages of negotiations with Cox to take the important position at the club, this is the man who lifted players like Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Amass up to United’s first team.
The English media claims that the step up at Everton tempts Cox, but has told United that he is waiting with a transfer to the club has a replacement in place.
