Merengue is not willing to pay that much money for the rest of the transfer window while they wait for Álvaro Carreras.
Real Madrid have made an important decision in their summer schedule: Angelo Stiller will not play in white. Despite reports linking him as a possible solution to the gap left by Luka Modrić and former Toni Kroos, the Real Madrid board has chosen not to pursue negotiations with the German midfielder from Stuttgart, thus closing the door on a transfer that appeared to be open.

The rebuilding of the midfield is still not complete. Although the investments in Jude Bellingham, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga aimed to ensure a generational change, the results have not been as convincing as expected. While Bellingham shines close to the opponent’s box, the French duo have failed to replicate the authority that Kroos and Modrić had when dictating the pace of the game.
Real Madrid will not sign Angelo Stiller
Xabi Alonso’s arrival on the bench has not changed the perception at Valdebebas: the midfield remains an area of structural deficiencies. They tried to compete for Martin Zubimendi, but Arsenal won the game. And although Stiller’s name was strongly linked to the club, the attempt was eventually rejected.
With names like Enzo Fernández, Rodri, and Mac Allister on the wish list, the big hurdle remains the prize. The club is not willing to make a significant investment this summer, especially in a position where player types that guarantee immediate impact are few. This caution could further complicate the start of a season in which the team aims to maintain its dominance in Europe. Meanwhile, the search for the ideal successor continues without a clear direction.
