When Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola was asked by an English journalist about Scott McTominay’s performance at Napoli, Zola stated: “No one here in Italy understands how Manchester United could sell this player – and at that price.” Napoli took the league title with McTominay dominating in midfield in an attacking role, the Scot received the Serie A Player of the Year award.
According to Football-Italia, Saudi side Al-Hilal have contacted Napoli about a move for the Scot, which the Italian club has rejected – and not just rejected.

Napoli did not even show up for a meeting with the Saudi club, which is now led by former Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
McTominay is unsurprisingly delighted at Napoli and is looking forward to matching and surpassing his 13 goals and six assists in 36 games, this time with Kevin de Bruyne as his partner.
So should any other club think about signing Scott McTominay this summer, drop that thought. The Scotsman will fight for titles in the league, cup and Champions League.
