Eternally young Olivier Giroud left European top-flight football last season after delivering 15 Serie A goals for AC Milan. The season after the exit, Milan’s game collapsed, 8th place in the league and outside of play in Europe was leaden. The French world champion, on the other hand, has played in MLS for Los Angeles FC, but has already opened up for a return to Europe.
There is a lot that has happened in Los Angeles and the United States in the last year outside the football arena, we do not know what makes the 38-year-old consider leaving early, but according to L’Equipe, talks are ongoing.

The French newspaper claims Lille president Olivier Letang and representatives of Giroud are in dialogue. The LAFC contract does not expire until the end of the year, but the Americans have an option to extend with another season.
Giroud has not played in Ligue 1 since 2012, for the Lille president this is the dream signing that will have to be worked hard to land. Then we will see if Giroud is tired of the United States, takes a significant salary cut from 3 million euros a year and moves to French football to finish where it all started.
So far, the striker has been in the match arena for LAFC 37 times with 5 goals. Since 2012, the French rock has played for Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan.
