According to BodøNu, two of Bodø/Glimt’s biggest talents are in danger of being sold to the Italian big club Inter Milan, who recently played in the Champions League final and lost to Paris Saint-Germain.
The newspaper states that this applies to the 16-year-old players Jonas Strand and Matheo Arntzen. Negotiations are now underway to complete the transfers. – Inter Milan mans their newly appointed manager Cristian Chivu has been personally involved in the process. His philosophy is, among other things, to create an environment that creates stars rather than buying them ready-made.
Stian Arntzen, Matheo’s father, confirms interest from outside:
“Matheo has had a dialogue with several foreign clubs, and it is true that there are exciting opportunities on the table. We do not want to go out with details until everything is ready and possibly signed.
Why is Inter interested?
Inter has a strong focus on young talents, and both Strand and Arntzen have impressed in Glimt’s youth department. A move to Serie A would be a big leap for the two northern Norwegian players.
It doesn’t stop there, the Danish 16-year-old striker Mikkel Bro Hansen is said to have aroused great interest in Barcelona. – To TV 2 he says: I want to play for one of the five best clubs in the world. That’s what you dream of as a football player,” says Mikkel Bro Hansen. When I was younger, I dreamed of playing for Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Barcelona and the other big clubs”
Bro Hansen was only 15 when he landed in Bodø for the very first time this winter.
After the Europa League semi-final, there were signals that Ulrik Saltnes, who has really blossomed, is attracting interest from several clubs. The 32-year-old is said to have been on the lists of Plymouth Argyle, who were relegated from the Champions League last season, and West Brom, who are looking for a midfield general of Saltnes’ calibre.
Fanatik writes that Patrick Berg is wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. – It is not just him, but two Bodø/Glimt players that the Manchester United legend wants to bring to Besiktas. – The other is Danish Kasper Høgh who, together with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and Olympiakos striker Ayoub El Kaabi, became top scorers in the Europa League.
