It would have been nice to be a fly on the wall during the managerial talk between the two Portuguese managers José Mourinho and Ruben Amorim.

According to Fanatik, Jose Mourinho did not like what he heard from Ruben Amorim and chose to withdraw from what is said to have been a fully negotiated Jadon Sancho deal.

Everyone seems to be disappointed with the 25-year-old at Old Trafford and that disappointment is said to have made the Turkish big club Fenerbahçe have second thoughts.

Mourinho only wanted “real pros”

Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho contacted Manchester United’s Ruben Amorim to find out more about Jadon Sancho. And Mourinho is said to have not liked what he heard from his compatriot.

Mourinho only wants “pros” at his club – not players who just come to Turkey to make money without feeling any affinity or loyalty to the club. Therefore, he pulled the emergency brake when it came to an attempt to retrieve Sancho, according to the sources.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported earlier this week that Mourinho had a direct conversation with Sancho to discuss a potential transfer.

It remains to be seen where the English left winger ends up. Chelsea paid a fine of around £5 million to avoid committing to Sancho after his loan spell from Manchester United. At Old Trafford, he hardly seems to have a future.

A move to Serie A seems to be the hottest track at the moment. Both Juventus and Napoli have shown interest in the player.
