One thing seems reasonably clear, Victor Osimhen is going to make good money in the future, no matter what he chooses.
Manchester United are reportedly still in the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, despite intense rumours of a summer move to Al-Hilal.

The Nigerian international has been identified as a key target for Ruben Amorim’s team, who are eager to bring him to Old Trafford to find a replacement for Rasmus Hojlund.
Indeed, according to TBR Football, Manchester United have “done significant work” in their pursuit of the superstar, who is described as a player they “really want”. The report emphasizes that Osimhen is still an option for United, even if Al-Hilal are pushing for a deal.
Al-Hilal’s massive offer
The Saudi Arabian team did not reach an agreement in early June, but has now come up with a contract proposal worth €160 million over four years. Osimhen will negotiate with Al-Hilal when he returns from vacation.
The 26-year-old scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 41 games for Galatasaray (loan) last season, and could become the latest star to secure a lucrative deal in Saudi Arabia.
Competition for Osimhen
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with Osimhen, as well as United, while Juventus see him as a dream replacement for Dušan Vlahović. But Al-Hilal is currently leading the game.
Requires €75 million
release clause If United are to secure Osimhen, they will likely need to activate the €75 million clause in his Napoli contract, as well as offering an annual salary in excess of €12 million.
Despite the club’s financial constraints, United legend Rio Ferdinand believes Osimhen could end up in Manchester:
“No. 9? They already know who I want. The comments know, the people know who I want: Osimhen! It looks like he has turned down Al-Hilal… he has to wait for United. The problem is whether United actually make a bid.”
