Leeds sign centre-back Bornauw from Wolfsburg
Leeds United have signed Belgian defender Sebastiaan Bornauw from Wolfsburg on a four-year contract. The transfer fee is £5.1 million.

The 26-year-old centre-back played 15 Bundesliga games for Wolfsburg last season and scored two goals. Bornauw will be Leeds’ third new signing after promotion to the Premier League, after Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol.

Junior Firpo leaves Leeds
Leeds United have confirmed that left-back Junior Firpo is leaving the club as a free agent.
The 28-year-old Dominican international, who joined from Barcelona in 2021, is now “taking on new challenges” after his contract has expired.
Real Betis’ sporting director Manu Fajardo stated last week that Firpo wants to return to the Spanish club, but that a deal is not yet in place.
